Happy New Year!!

Holy crap, it's 1/1/11! So many ones! Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!! Love you all! Everyone deserves a little love.

It's the year of the rabbit! And I drew this beautiful little artwork in honor of our new rabbit year: 2011!!!!!

My SAI trial ended so I ended up using my old illustrating program and that program sucks~ But it's not bad for a free illustrating tool.

So, cute huh? The pink hair was kinda a random addition, I was gonna make it brown but I thought that was way too boring. Colorful clothes likey ^o^!

By the way, here's a preview of a drawing I'm working on:

It's not colored yet but'll color it soon, when I find time. It's pretty right?

Oh, it's for a song by Miku (I know, I know, another song but I love this one.)

See you guys next time and Happy New Year!!

The Christmas Aftermath!

Hey guys!! How was your Christmas? Good? Bad? Pissed out because your brother ratted you out eating the cookies your family left out for Santa? Well, let me share some of my joy with you!

So, let's discuss presents first!

I got a tablet!!!!! To be exact, a Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet but what god cares about that! I got my first tablet! It's so pretty and smooth and shiny, and professional-looking, ah, a beauty!! It's an Intuos too! I did my research ok, it's a pretty expensive and used by a lot of famous graphic designers. I love it so much!!! <3 XD I must spamming you with exclamation points right now but I am so dang happy it's unbelievable.

And now, for the baptism of my tablet. I shall now name him (its a him, yes, a guy) BINGO! The picture above is my picture I drew with my tablet, as a present to all.

I also got a laptop bag but that wasn't as big of a news but I'll tell you guys anyway. ^_^

A sad news is that my SAI Paintool trial ended so I couldn't use my tablet with SAI (which is the best illustrating program ever, as you can see, not created in America, only Japan could make something this awesomesauce).

Next, song of the day! My new face Vocaloid song. Yes, I kinda notice that I always slap songs at you without notice but songs are a source of inspiration in my life.

I hate how Luka has so much sad songs but I love how her low voice sounds so emotional and beautiful in them. The irony.

Here's a fanart I drew for this beautiful song. Please tell me how I did, I's really appreciate it!

A piece of you- Luka by ~bluewings42 on deviantART

Until next time buds!

* P.S. You may have noticed how I made the main topics of my entry in large print to bring attention to it. It's my new style from now on. If you don't like it, tell me ok? I just wanted to try something new.

The Blog List Program III

Well, well, I'm finally keeping up with posting monthly. Anyway, for all those in America right now, Happy Thanksgiving!

The monkey king today is Hello Windows [absorb ver.]. Absorb may be the not as well-known band name of Halyosy, that, and is, some of the most famous Nico Nico dubbers. I personally think anyone that can use the Windows startup music and make a beautiful song out of it is genius.

# I

Finally, our lovely number zwei, No Logic [Han ver.]. I still don't get how this only has 380 views, Han's voice is so soothing in this song!!! Very charming...

# II

Of course, more sexy songs on our way, SPICE! [Valshe ver.]! Valshe-sama, I love you!! You don't know how long of waited for her to use her sexy voice to sing this sexy song. I'm gonna faint...

You'd never believe how much sexy songs I found recently. Next up, E? AA, Sou [Dasoku x Hachisu ver.] That's how I think their names are spelled, I'm bad at translating kanji. But, this amazing duet definitely makes up for any lack of name spelling!

Lastly, the most original and beautiful version of this song I've yet to hear, Dear [ShounenT ver.] in which he plays a beautiful guitar accompaniment while sing the pure lyrics of this song! The angels are crying, I can hear them.

The biggest Vocaloid geek alive,

DeviantART: Art Paradise!

Well, well, well. I'm back! With some of the best things to share, along with cool artwork made by yours truly.

Yay! What it it? A website where you can submit art, look up art, and sign up to get even more fun features. It's truly a genius site made for artists, writers, and photographers. Of course, that's a pretty bad explanation so here's a better one:

What is deviantART and who founded deviantART?

deviantART is an online art community for artists and art lovers to interact in a variety of ways, ranging from the submission of art to conversations on a number of topics. In its purest form, deviantART is a means for expressing yourself in a variety of ways.

deviantART was started by Scott Jarkoff (Jark), Angelo Sotira (Spyed) and Matt Stephens (Matteo), who launched the site on August 7, 2000. If you are interested in reading the full story behind deviantART, click here.

Awesome, right? All the artwork are made from the users, you should see some of those drawings, they're amazing! Of course, I'm not that bad in the long run either.

Now, for the closing, here's some of my artwork on deviantART!

K-ON! Boys Ver.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn II

These two are the ones I love best! It'd be great if I get feedback. You can find them on deviantART as well.

See ya around,

The Blog List Program II

Well, about time I update a new Blog List Program! So how's everyone?

Out best of the bunch today is Aitai [Hanatan Ver.], a rather new song. I adore this piece, like serious. I've never been a fan of lonely love songs but Hanatan's mature and emotional voice just pulls you right in. PV art is also very pretty.

Our number 2 of the day is Antichlorobenzene [Kagamine Rin]. It has an amazing typography style PV and a follow up to Kagamine Len's Paradichlorobenzene, which is slightly included partway into the song. I like these types of emotional songs, they're beautiful in a creepy way.

# II

And our third liner, Packaged [Megpoid Gumi Ver.] using the VocaListener. The VocaListener is a program where a person sings the song and the Vocaloid would hit the exact notes and breaths with their voice. It makes Gumi sound superbly realistic.

The forth can't be left out now, right? +REVERSE [ Lily] our newest Vocaloid. Her voice is kinda low, you can say, a cross between Meiko and Luka. But this song really show the full effect of her robotic voice and I really like the lyrics too.

Number 5 here is a pretty old song but I recently got into it and it's really beautiful for a Len song. Kimi no Sagasu Fantasia [Kagamine Len] is very sweet song, especially since it's a LenxRin song and the pictures are gorgeous!! I think it's worth the extra space in your Favorites.

Thanks to all fans like me,

Aoi ^o^

My future awaits...

Anyway, I've been able to finally scan my amazing pictures into the computer and edit them so they look fabulous. Of course, I'm cheap so they aren't Photoshop-like quality but they're pretty good considering I'm using a very limited free photo-editing program.

Here's some earlier ones I uploaded.

Yeah, I know. Not much color and amazingness. Pretty crappy. Considering I only had Microsoft Paint and Photofiltre to rely on, it's pretty good.

Then, I discovered the 'Smudge Tool' on Photofiltre and BAM! I could do shadows and shades!!!

I was so happy! Anyway, I think they weren't so bad. I just had problems with finding a background, that's all.

Hope you like it. I would LOVE comments!!! ^_^

All these pictures, and more, can be found on my deviantART account: Bluewings42's DeviantART Profile

Hikaru no Go!

Yeah, this manga like ended a long time ago but I recently dug it up and read the whole thing and FELL IN LOVE with it. Especially with such an obvious yaoi pairing! God, I was so disappointed Hikaru and Akira didn't kiss!! Goddammit!!

Here's your basic info:

Title: Hikaru no Go
Arthor: Yumi Hotta
Artist: Takeshi Obata

Summary:While exploring his grandfather's shed, Hikaru stumbles across a Go board haunted by the spirit of Fujiwara-no-Sai, a fictional Go player from the Heian era. Sai wishes to play Go again, having not been able to since the late Edo period, when his ghost appeared to Honinbō Shūsaku, an actual Go player of that period. Sai's greatest desire is to attain the Kami-no-Itte (神の一手) – "Divine Move", or the "Hand of God" – a perfect game. Because Hikaru is apparently the only person who can perceive him, Sai inhabits a part of Hikaru's mind as a separate personality, coexisting, although not always comfortably, with the child.
Urged by Sai, Hikaru begins playing Go despite an initial lack of interest in the game. He begins by simply executing the moves Sai dictates to him, but Sai tells him to try to understand each move. In a Go salon, Hikaru defeats Akira Toya twice, a boy his age who plays Go at professional level, by following Sai's instruction. Akira subsequently begins a quest to discover the source of Hikaru's strength, an obsession which will come to dominate his life.
Hikaru becomes intrigued by the great dedication of Akira and Sai to the game and decides to start playing solely on his own. He is a complete novice at first, but has some unique abilities to his advantage; for instance, once he has a basic understanding of Go, he can reconstruct a game play by play from memory. Through training at Go clubs, study groups, and practice games with Sai, he manages to become an insei and later a pro, meeting various dedicated Go players of different ages and styles along the way. While Hikaru is at this point not yet up to the level of Akira, he demonstrates a natural talent for the game and remains determined to prove his own abilities to Akira, Sai, and himself.

Shindo Hikaru- Protagonist who is assisted by Sai. At the beginning of the series, Hikaru is a sixth grader in elementary school. An important factor in the development of Hikaru's passion for Go is an encounter early on where Hikaru becomes the rival of Akira Toya. At first, he thinks that Go is just for old folks and he is annoyed at Sai's demand to play, but little by little his passion for Go increases as he plays more and more. From being a member of a school Go club to becoming an insei and finally a professional Go player (at 14 years old) a year after Akira, Hikaru matures throughout the course of the series. Throughout the series, Hikaru gets older in age as both the manga volumes and animated series follow him from 6th grade to high school. Hikaru is often portrayed wearing clothing having the numeral "5". This is a pun on the Japanese word for five: 五, which is pronounced go. His birthday is September 20. Part of his strength is his ability to read far into the game very fast, and to make seemingly stupid moves, which, in fact, lure the opponent to playing what looks like the obviously correct move, which Hikaru then uses against them.

Fujiwara no Sai-A spirit from the Heian era of Japan and mentor of Hikaru Shindo. Once the Go instructor to the Emperor, Sai continually plays Go in attempt to one day play the divine move (also known as the Hand of God or Kami No Itte). In the manga and anime, Sai's ghost had possessed the real-life figure Honinbo Shusaku who became a renowned Go player. Sai holds a rivalry towards Koyo Toya (a.k.a. Toya Meijin) and through Hikaru persuades Toya to have a game with him. His wish is realized when Toya accepts the challenge and plays a game through the Internet. After the legendary match that ends with Sai's triumph, Hikaru discovers another move which would have turned the game around. While witnessing the maturity of Hikaru, Sai comes to feel that his one-thousand-year time in the world is going to end and he won't fulfill his wish of obtaining the divine move, but that perhaps he was to awaken and teach Hikaru, who might obtain it in the future. A few days after the game with Toya Meijin, Sai suddenly disappears, neither terminating his last match with Hikaru nor saying goodbye to him. Sai is gone, leaving Hikaru depressed and wanting to quit go. When Hikaru plays Isumi, Hikaru realizes that he will continue to play go for Sai lives on in Hikaru's go. Extremely effeminate by today's standards (as is appropriate for a high-born Heian man), Sai is often drawn with traditionally feminine features and mannerisms. Yumi Hotta has joked about fans mistakenly calling him a "she" in the "intermission" pages of the manga. Sai's extremely emotional behavior is also proper for a Heian male; he sometimes cries copiously in chibi style (usually in an episode introduction), soaking his long sleeves with tears, which in his own time would be respected as a sign of intelligence and sensitivity. His name Fujiwara suggests that he is related to a noble family of extremely high prestige in the Heian period, the Fujiwara clan.

Touyo Akira-Hikaru's biggest rival and Kaio Middle School student. The son of Koyo Toya, Akira is already a very strong go player when Hikaru first begins playing. Akira is amazed by Hikaru's seemingly impossible strength and becomes obsessed with discovering the secret behind Hikaru's strength. Meanwhile, Hikaru is impressed with how serious and focused Akira is for being only a 6th grader like him when they first meet. As the series goes along, the plot brings these two characters together to play each other under many circumstances, each time adding to the mystery. Like Hikaru, Akira also gets taller throughout the series. His birthday is December 14.

Those are the main characters. There are tons of other characters too but I'm too lazy to worry about them. Sorry.

Well, you're probably all waiting for this part now! Pictures! Yay!

Don't forget....

Akira x Hikaru
